Patricia Black is a filmmaker and visual artist working between Brazil and Portugal. Her practice explores the intersections of moving image, sound, and spatial intervention, creating works that challenge conventional narratives and engage with themes of memory, landscape, and cultural identity.
Her films and installations have been shown internationally at museums, galleries, and film festivals. Black’s approach is characterized by a deep engagement with place and an interest in collaborative processes, often working alongside musicians, choreographers, and other artists to develop interdisciplinary projects.
